These terms apply when you use the Veyzo app or this website. Using Veyzo means you accept them.
What Veyzo does
Veyzo lets shops list food and other stock that is close to its date, and lets shoppers find it, follow shops and reserve items. Veyzo is the place the two sides meet. The sale itself is between the shopper and the shop, and it happens in the shop.
Your account
Give accurate details, keep your sign-in to yourself, and tell us if someone else gets into your account. You need to be 16 or over. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
If you run a shop
- What you list must be accurate: the product, its price, how many you have and the date on it.
- Do not list anything past its use-by date, anything unsafe, or anything you are not allowed to sell.
- Food law is yours to follow, including allergen information, labelling, storage and hygiene. Veyzo does not check your stock and cannot do this for you.
- Honour the deals and reservations you accept, at the price you listed.
- You keep the whole sale. Veyzo charges a subscription, shown in the app before you are billed, and takes no commission.
If you are shopping
- A reservation holds an item for a limited time and is not a payment. You pay in the shop when you collect.
- Items are near their date, so check the date and use them promptly.
- Repeatedly reserving and not collecting can pause your ability to reserve.
- Your contract for the item is with the shop. Questions about the item itself, including a refund, go to the shop.
Subscriptions
Shop subscriptions are billed at the price and interval shown when you subscribe, and renew until cancelled. Cancel at any time; the subscription runs to the end of the period already paid for. Where a subscription is bought through the App Store or Google Play, their billing and refund rules apply, and you can manage it in your store account.
Content you upload
You keep ownership of your photos and listings. You give Veyzo permission to display them in the app and to promote the service. Do not upload anything you have no right to use, and nothing unlawful, misleading or offensive. We can remove content that breaks these terms.
Availability
We work to keep Veyzo running, but it is provided as it is. Features can change, and the service can be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control.
Our responsibility
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Beyond that, Veyzo is not liable for the quality, safety or accuracy of what a shop lists, and is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Any liability we do have is limited to what you have paid us in the previous twelve months.
If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
Ending it
Close your account whenever you like, in the app. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction.
